Frequently asked questions

How much space do I need for a home visit?

Not much at all! If you have enough floor space for a standard yoga mat, I can fit my professional massage table. A living room, spare bedroom, or even a home gym works perfectly. I handle the setup and pack-down entirely.

What do I need to provide?

Nothing but yourself. I bring a professional-grade therapy table, high-quality hypoallergenic oils/creams, and all necessary clinical equipment. Many clients prefer to use their own towels for personal comfort, but I always have fresh, professional linens available.

Is there a fee for travel?

Standard performance fees include travel within my primary radius: Haywards Heath, Lindfield, Cuckfield, and Burgess Hill. I frequently serve the wider Mid-Sussex area (including Crawley, Horsham, Brighton, and Hove); however, these locations incur a travel surcharge based on distance. Please [message me] for a bespoke quote for your location.

Do I need to be ‘injured’ to see you?

Absolutely not. My philosophy is that recovery is a part of training. Most of my elite clients book regular maintenance sessions to prevent injury and ‘pre-hab’ their bodies. Think of it like servicing a high-performance car before it breaks down.

How is a ‘Sports Therapist’ different from a standard massage therapist?

While a massage therapist focuses on relaxation, a Sports Therapist (with my background at the HK Sports Institute) uses a clinical approach. I perform clinical testing, gait analysis, and biomechanical assessments to find the root cause of your pain.
